This Saturday March 2nd will be my solo show in Miami. I will never forget the day a little monster appeared in my life and gave me the confidence to pay attention to my inner child, create images that make me happy and give me the opportunity to help children. There will be a limited edition lithograph of “Oi,Hola,Hello” available for purchase to raise money to support the art education program at the Miami Childrens Hospital Dan Marino Outpatient Center. Proceeds from the sale of the artwork will fund the purchase of the art supplies needed for Camp DMC Summer 2013. Please contact edward.farrell@artrev.com to preorder and check the attached link for details. Never forget your inner child, it is pure and will always guide you to find your true self. Thank you very much. =) Artrageous Gallery Village of Merrick Park 358 Lorenzo Avenue #3210 Coral Gables Florida 33146

In certain cultures they believe that animals represent your inner spirit.  I was introduced to the concept of finding my animal spirit or power animal by two amazing healers Joel and Suzanne Richey.  They came into my life at a time where emotionally I was lost.  It is always special when other people come into your life and help you change for the positive.  It is important to keep an open mind and listen to the messages your environment and gut are giving you.  Someone asked me the other day why I like to paint whales all the time.  The answer is simple…I believe in whales because they believe in me.  Awhile back I was surfing my local break and a whale appeared about 100 yards out from myself and two other surfers.  It was a life changing experience and has drawn me closer to this amazing creature of the sea.  The best gifts in life are right before our eyes, each and everyday.  When we take the time to appreciate these things, a great transformation can occur.  What is your power animal?  Give it a thought and please feel free to share.  Gracias!

 Sister Sun

It is important to remain calm during challenging times in our lives.  It is difficult at times to remain calm and be patient when everything seems to be moving at such a fast pace.  I was thinking of this the other day while painting in my backyard.  The sun hit my face for a minute or so and it felt so good.  I realized how powerful sister sun is and how much more I appreciate her after not seeing her for days.  Take the time to listen to sister sun, she can guide you through those times of darkness.
